Due to the highly active and corrective nature of our products and services, a Visia Skin Analysis consultation is necessary before we are able to perform a Medi-facial or Peel. This allows us to analyse your skin type, medical history and your skin goals. This is a complimentary service performed prior to your first medi-facial with us. Medi Facial $135

At MEK a Medi Facial is suitable for almost anyone! Whether you’re looking for relaxation or to treat individual skin types and conditions we can customise this treatment for you. This soothing facial works on nearly all skin types with instantresults in skin tone and texture, leaving you feeling refreshed with no down time!

Heatlite II LED $70 

HEALITE II is a non-ablative skin surface treatment system that uses light delivered through light emitting diodes (LED) to deliver pure light in precise wavelengths to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improving uneven skin tone and targeting active acne. Light emitting diode (LED) energises your cells to increase cell function, stimulates blood flow and promotes healing making it the perfect treatment to combine with some of our Peels we have to offer or any Facial treatments.

LED Light Therapy with Peel $150 (Exclude Salicylic Peels). As mentioned above, this treatment can be used as a standalone treatment, or to assist other treatments, such as a Peel. More information about our Peels can be found here.

Healite II LED on the body $70

The Healite II LED (infrared light – 830nm) can be used on the body for enhancing recovery and relieving pain and stiffness in muscles and joints, arthritis and muscle spasm, promoting the relaxation of muscle tissue and temporarily increasing local blood circulation where applied.

Blue light – 415nm

Targets the b-acne bacteria (porphyrin) without harming skin, to improve skin clarity and reduce future breakouts. This wavelength assists with decongestion to purify problem skin and regulate sebum production

Infrared light – 830nm

This wavelength promotes faster healing, reduces inflammation and stimulates the greatest collagen and elastin production. This wavelength works best when complemented with our other skin treatments as it reduces inflammation, promotes the body’s natural healing response and enhances your results. Visia Skin Analysis

The Visia system provides a clear and accurate multi-dimensional digital photograph of your complexion, to provide a comprehensive series of reports regarding your skin’s condition.

Due to the highly active and corrective nature of our products and services, a Visia Skin Analysis consultation is necessary before we are able to perform a Medi-facial or Peel. This allows us to analyse your skin type, medical history and your skin goals.

The Visia Skin Analysis examines and provides a report detailing skin hydration, oil production, congestion and pore size, pigmentation issues and ageing concerns, and also recommends the appropriate treatments and products for the best results.

Visia Skin Analysis – $65

Hydrabrasion 

Hydrabrasion is used to polish, refine and rehydrate the skin in one treatment. Microdermabrasion is performed first to remove build-up of dead skin cells on the surface then water hydabrasion cleanses the skin further and provides hydration.

This dual step treatment gives the skin additional radiance and smoothness

It is a very effective treatment that can be used to treat:

LASER GENESIS Excel V+ $300

Excel V+ delivers the power, precision, and performance to safely and effectively treat indications from challenging vascular and pigmentary conditions to today’s most common skin concerns.

Treatments for concerns such as rosacea, diffusing facial redness, facial veins, leg veins, periorbital veins, angiomas, port wine stains, poikiloderma, wrinkles, venous malformations, bruising, inflammatory acne, benign pigmented lesions, age spots, small area hair removal, scars and acne scars.

This procedure involves the laser handpiece being moved back and forth, emitting thousands of pulses of laser energy (1064nm) delivered in microseconds over your skin. This results in a gentle warming of the upper dermal layer to stimulate collagen and reduce redness. The repeating pulses of low energy slowly heat the layers of the skin, in particular the microvasculature, and this results in the stimulation of collagen production.

Green Genesis

An add-on for our Laser Genesis is the ‘Green Genesis’. This is a 532 nm wavelength option in microsecond mode to improve skin revitalisation by more effectively targeting red and brown discolouration.

Green Genesis uses the same technology, but a different laser application to target skin concerns that are closer to the surface of the skin. This makes Green Genesis an ideal treatment for people who have unwanted pigment on the face and body. Specifically, Green Genesis is an effective solution for telangiectasia, or rosacea, and general redness. If you’ve been struggling with redness Genesis can help!

CoolView for Capillaries, Redness & Pigmentation

When treating vascular conditions, the laser heats up abnormal vessels causing the vessel wall to collapse and seal shut, destroying unwanted capillaries. When treating pigmentation, the pigment absorbs the light causing the pigment to be destroyed, more superficial pigment will come up to the surface of the skin and flake off over the coming days, whilst deeper pigment will lighten with each treatment.

DermaFrac

Skin Peels

At MEK Beauty Clinic we offer a variety of medical grade facial peels, which will help to reduce the appearance of many different skin conditions such as pigmentation, acne, acne scarring, rosacea, sun damage and fine lines and wrinkles.

Our peels, which are derived from natural products, will reveal newer and fresher skin from underneath. Your specific skin concerns will determine which peel we will recommend. Depending on your unique skin’s requirements, we will usually recommend a course of 3 – 6 peels.
